October '06 was surprisingly wet.
Our weather station in Politeia recorded 240,3
mm of monthly rainfall.

close to Athens but did not pass overhead. Even so, about 20mm of
rain were recorded, most in less than 20 min.
Multiple thunderstorms hovered
over Athens today. More than 40mm were recorded downtown.
Intense storm produced 16mm of rain in
Politeia. More rain was recorded downtown and the west parts of
animation (lightning ball???)
