Within 50 minutes 34mm of rain was accumulated. This amounts to approximately 6% of the yearly rainfall for Politeia! During that day a total of 43,9 mm of rain was recorded by our weather station.   The intensity (rain rate) of the storm in 10 minute intervals: 17:20=24,1mm/h 17:30=97,5mm/h 17:40=97,5mm/h 17:50=100,3mm/h 18:00=65,8mm/h 18:10=57,7mm/h   Video by Armenistis. 03 July 2010 Hailstorm in Athens   A severe hailstorm erupted over Athens in the afternoon.
